thanks man. i really wanted to make sure they were hidden and i thought the easiest way would be to replicate 1:1 body mounts. they may not be just like the full size counterpart but they are solid and well hidden

well some items arrived today. still need to make mounts for everything and some bungees to hold the cooler in but this is where it will be placed. luckily the cooler and the jerry can had removable parts cause Fatty McKee driver was weighing down the drivers side so i filled the cooler and jerry can with silly putty to offset the weight.

well its been a while since ive updated this thread on here. quite a bit has changed

first i switched to 1.55's. they were a bit narrow so i made some spacers, 3/16" per wheel
wheels wrapped in rock stompers

next was the addition of half doors and a bikini top

then i fixed the cowl area

and added a windshield. ( i dont know how i feel about the windshield. just doesnt look right in the up position

The doors looks a bit tall for me... but other then that ...it's a great looking rig man :nice:

Well i think i know why it looks a bit tall....the steering wheel in your rig is a bit low can you add some hight to it?
